Since THJ is today an upgrade over Kevin Porter Jr. and they may move Porter in any case it fits well also because Beal likes Mavs a lot:

Yes. Cavs and specially Wiz get a lot back. But Beal is a great player and a shooter fits well in Dallas. Drummond completes a contenders roster to go big or small for Mavs when the CAP will be fully used afterwards. Hence Mavs can overpay a little bit Cavs and Wiz.

Dallas can not trade their 2029 first. Can only go 7 seasons out in first rounders that can be traded.
