HOU get Fox

DAL get Wood & Gordon

SAC get Porzingis, 1st round pick HOU top 4 protected

1.) 08 Jan 2022 10:13:07
What you are basically saying is that Porzingis is worth Wood+Gordon+lottery pick? Not sure Porzingis is that much better than Wood.

2.) 08 Jan 2022 16:42:49
Fredman if healthy porzingus is a five time better defender and equal on offense to Wood.

3.) 08 Jan 2022 19:59:08
This is terrible for the Kings.

4.) 08 Jan 2022 20:51:37
Dallas should give a first too to sacramento.

05 Jan 2022 19:39:40

POR get Domantas Sabonis & Jeremy Lamb

CLE get CJ McCollum

IND get Jusuf Nurkic, Ricky Rubio (inj), 1st round pick from CLE 2022, future lottery protected 1st from CLE, 2 2nd round picks from POR

1.) 05 Jan 2022 21:25:53
I assume this is too good for Portland, because I love it for them.

2.) 05 Jan 2022 22:06:54
With still having Sexton and CJs age, I don't see the Cavs doing this. Just keep Sexton and the picks?

Pacers can do way better.

3.) 05 Jan 2022 23:36:50
Indy doesn't need Nurkic, I would take this if you swap him for an extra first round. Maybe Toronto's interested in taking him.

04 Jan 2022 22:00:10

Kinda fantasy but could be beneficial to all teams?

ATL get Jaylen Brown & Jahmes Ramsey
- they really need to consolidate assets to add a legit 2nd star next to Trae Young. Collins is solid but i can't see him being a 2nd star. Brown can be.

Pg Young/Wright/Cooper
Sg Bogdanovic/Huerter/Ramsey
Sf Brown/Hill
Pf Hunter/Gallinari
Ce Capela/Okongwu/Dieng

BOS get D'Aaron Fox & Cam Reddish
- gets their playmaker and let Tatum play the position solely. Reddish is a good addition. He brings shooting and defense perfect to play behind or beside Tatum

Pg Fox/Pritchard
Sg Smart/Richardson/Langford
Sf Tatum/Nesmith
Pf G.Williams/Parker
Ce R.Williams/Horford/Freedom

SAC get John Collins, Dennis Shroeder (exp), 1st round pick via ATL top 10 protected & 2nd round pick BOS
- move on from Fox and let Hali and Davion take over. Get an athletic versatile forward that could grow with those 2 young guards. Also add Dennis to fill in the back up pg for the rest of the season plus added pick since i believe Fox is still worth more than Collins. Eventually, Bagley will be traded too

Pg Mitchell/Schroder
Sg Haliburton/Hield
Sf Barnes/Davis
Pf Collins/Harkless/Bagley
Ce Holmes/Len

1.) 04 Jan 2022 23:14:07
Good job! The value seems right for all teams involved, and may benefit all as well.
IMO, the best way of telling whether a trade is good or not is this: if one reads a trade proposal and doesn’t immediately find out the poster’s favorite team, it is usually a good one.

2.) 04 Jan 2022 23:14:51
I like it, I think Fox is pretty equal with Brown so maybe swing Reddish to Sac instead.

3.) 04 Jan 2022 23:16:18
I've always liked Fox but I've started to sour on him after doing some digging. It seems like some people may view him as somewhat of a bad contract, poor defender and shooter, and much to my surprise there's been whispers that he doesn't really make his teammates better. It appears that the consensus is, outside of Boston and Sacramento, that Brown has significantly more value. Reddish has star potential and some team may get very lucky if Atlanta does move him, which may just be an unfounded rumor,

4.) 04 Jan 2022 23:16:53
Love it for all teams.

5.) 04 Jan 2022 23:21:55
One minor negative: Reddish is called a “good addition” and immediately disappears, not making Boston’s rotation at all. I’d like to see him play alongside Tatum and Fox, since he’s not currently projected as a shot creator himself and would benefit from playing alongside 2. Besides, Reddish is raw, but has a higher seeling than Grant Williams and Marcus Smart, so he can take either’s job in the starting lineup.

6.) 04 Jan 2022 23:53:15
Agreed. Good trade.

7.) 05 Jan 2022 00:07:42
@NBA 16

Fox is not equal to Brown by any means. In fact, Reddish would be the minimal return for making the trade work. I’ve seen some ideas like “Fox and a second” and “Fox and Bagley” for Brown floating around, but I don’t think anything like that would work for Boston. Fox is a good player, but a sub-par defender and shooter. There’s a reason why Sacramento is (reportedly) willing to trade him after deeming him untouchable until the season began. He’s regressed a lot, and it really shows. Now, Boston would be gambling on him becoming a better defender and a good fit next to Tatum.

8.) 05 Jan 2022 00:16:13
brown has significantly more value than fox.

9.) 05 Jan 2022 00:18:11
on another note john collins/ trae young are the most efficient pick and roll combination in the league this year.

10.) 05 Jan 2022 00:18:54
one last thing jaylen brown has been the most efficient player in iso situations this year.

11.) 05 Jan 2022 20:13:38
the value you talk about is the name. you got to think of what they do on the court. Fox is one of the quickest PG in the world with ball handling skills, good passer, defender, finisher and his shooting has improved from outside. i am not comparing him to anyone because there is no one like him in the NBA right now. maybe if Darius Garland had more experience and was bigger and stronger.

12.) 06 Jan 2022 00:05:16
he looks good on a highlight reel. how has his shooting improved? lukas one of the slowest pgs in the world. soooo.

02 Jan 2022 08:04:35

HOU get Ricky Rubio & protected 1st round pick

CLE get Eric Gordon

1.) 02 Jan 2022 12:59:30
I actually think that Houston would do it straight up just to get out of the $20 mil owed to Gordon next season.

2.) 02 Jan 2022 13:51:03
I agree Fredman I don't think Gordon nets Houston anything of value. Before the season his contract was looked at as a negative and I don't think a short run of health and decent play has changed anything.

19 Dec 2021 17:40:09

SAC get Wood & Augustin

BOS get Hield

HOU get Horford & 1st round pick from Both teams (with protection), 2nd round pick SAC

1.) 19 Dec 2021 18:28:40
How is Hield generally viewed, worth is contract or not?

2.) 19 Dec 2021 18:37:53
Why are the Celtics helping the Kings? Stupid trade for them. If anything they would cut the Kings out, trade with the Rockets and get Wood.

3.) 19 Dec 2021 21:17:52
I would love Kings to get Wood, but that is just an overpayment (Augustin has a 2nd year @ $7.3 mil) .

4.) 19 Dec 2021 21:58:26
Heild is definitely worth his contract and his solid positive value. I think the fact that he’s stuck in King’s purgatory with a roster full of guards doesn’t help him. But he’s a lot like Sexton to me, maybe a small step below.

5.) 20 Dec 2021 03:21:41
Does that 18 point 4th quarter against the Spurs help his value any?

Cavaliers are a surprise by far. Any player deserves an all-star nod? Allen maybe?

21 Nov 2021 14:31:03

Knicks or Raptors

06 Nov 2021 08:11:12
Bmiller, i hate to say this, but is Lillard silently looking to be moved? Hopefully not. I want him to stay a TrailBlazer.

1.) 06 Nov 2021 17:02:16
Nah, he’s hurt. He’s been dealing with an ab injury since the Olympics and it’s still hurting. He won’t use it as an excuse, but that’s the problem. He really needs to sit a few weeks, but again, I’m not sure he does that willingly.

24 Oct 2021 10:32:17
Does OKC has the potential to break the worst record in a season?

1.) 24 Oct 2021 20:01:37
I feel like Orlando is going to give OKC a run for the 1st pick.

2.) 24 Oct 2021 22:00:01
I think SGA is too talented for them to have the worst record ever.

03 Aug 2021 21:23:42
LAL line up 2021-2022

Pg Westbrook/Nunn
Sg Monk/Ellington
Sf James/Horton-Tucker/Bazemore
Pf Davis/Ariza/Melo
Ce Gasol/Howard

Reserve - McKinnie

Glad to see the signings of Nunn and THT (Casual, he didn't get the max you are mentioning but it's good for LAL). Finally some fresh legs to run 😅

Side notes: medical staff might be busy

1.) 03 Aug 2021 23:09:06
Not sure this "fixed" any of last year's issues. Davis and LeBron have to stay healthy while Westbrook has to learn to be a third fiddle.

Perimeter defense and fast break defense is going to be this team's main weaknesses. PnR Gasol all game long while getting into Westbrook's head (JR Smith mentality 2.0).

2.) 03 Aug 2021 23:27:41
Little worried too Fred but for sure they'll contend. What do you think they should've done better? Hield trade? I guess given the Westbrook deal, they did a decent job of signing FA's. All they need to do is keep these "oldies" and AD away from major injuries which is quite a stretch.

3.) 04 Aug 2021 00:18:38
They got some shooters now especially off the bench. I think they need another perimeter defending guard.

Avery Bradley coming back would be a good one.

Or maybe another center (younger one lol) maybe like Birch.

4.) 04 Aug 2021 01:11:32
Ayayi will or should get some minutes too.

I think ATL will ask for Smart if they are to give Bogi. Just my opinion.

ATL can actually beat that team in some games

I'll put Vucevic higher, maybe around number 9

I'd say Markieff to at least top 15

Jimmy Butler all over Klay Thompson, Anthony Davis all over Curry as long as Pelicans could make playoffs (doubt)
