Bamba for Ish Smith, future 2nd

Fits an immediate need for both teams. Bamba probably has more value long-term, but is buried behind Vucevic and Birch. Even Gordon or Isaac (in the future) can cover any of his minutes.

You can sign a player of Smith's caliber for cheap without having to give up Bamba. This is terrible for the Magic.

JJ: can’t you also easily sign a player of Bamba’s caliber? There’s got to be a Zeller or Plumlee available that would outperform Bamba. Dragan Bender is available.

That said, this seems like a straight up trade, no pick needed.

Bmiller- true but magic don’t need bamba hence why he gets no minutes. Washington have Lopez and nobody else at center. Beal won’t be happy if they stand pat.
