I know this is a lot to give up in a S&T and if you Raps fans wouldn't do it due to Lavine having some health concerns I understand.
I believe this could make Raps a true contender however. Lavine can give them a true go to option and one to create their own shot. They still have a ton of good and versatile defenders, and Hardy is a good plus in the trade giving them a scoring combo guard who has a lot of potential and was a top prospect at a time.

Flynn/Hardy/Banton/Boucher/Birch
- maybe S&T young for a wing?

Bulls could go all out with another trade

Bulls - Gobert and Hachimura
Wizards - White
Jazz - Vucevic and Williams
- Jazz add an all star caliber center who's expiring as well and a top pick last year who has loads of potential

I can't argue your logic, and if Toronto hadn't exceeded expectations this year, (even if we do get swept in the first round we've come along further than even bobby and masai anticipated), management might even do it. But this team is being built to a plan, and Lavine doesn't fit the mold that the Raptors look for.
I guess it's probably also unbelievable that Lavine would choose Toronto over a team like the Knicks or Nets. I love it here, and I think a lot of NBA players just don't know what they're missing here, but I recognize we're not a high priority destination. And that's kinda why Ujiri and Webster want to build a team a different way.

Keep Trent and OG bring in a bench and improve throughout the off-season and add the right guysarpund this team. They are one truly super star away from competing again got a title. With the same team.
