Small ball didn't work because S Curry and Klay weren't healty. Green is just an average player, when he isn't surrounded with stars.

Green would be great doing the dirty work while he's surrounded with shooters.

Small ball won the warriors 3 rings. I would think they’d start Looney and Green though. But Green has played half of his career at center incredibly successfully.

Green isn’t average, that’s absurd. He just can’t lead a team. He’s an incredible defender and passer. It’s like saying that Gobert is average. Or Rodman. Yeah, they can’t win alone, but every team should want them to go with offensive stars.

If I was Detroit, I think I would draft Hayes at 2. I think they want to pair Hayes and Doumbouya together, and moving up to 2 would guarantee that.

But, they might be able to use Kennard to move up to get Hayes without having to take on Wiggins.

Or include Griffin in the deal so Detroit doesn't have to have two terrible contracts at the same time.

As a Pistons fan: I love it. I think Wiggins would thrive as a number one option and could then be traded for assets. I also love Wiseman as a prospect. If Blake comes back healthy then we’re a playoff team that’s better equipped for the future. Also makes perfect sense for the Warriors as it puts them in a better position to land Giannis in 2021.

GSW’s lineup would be Curry/ Kennard/ Klay/ Draymond/ Looney with Rose as 6th man though. Kennard is too weak defensively to play the 3.

No way the Warriors are giving up all that for 1 year of Derrick Rose and 2 non stars. they are quite happy to save that package for someone who will give them an allstar at an outrageous salary, because they can.
