Knicks / / Mavs / / Spurs

If Brunson wants to run his own team.

Knicks get: Brunson (S&T)

Mavs get: Murray, Noel

Spurs get: Powell, Green, 3 Dallas firsts
(23 via NY, 25, 27)

Why?

- Knicks get their guy. Seems odd to pay another team for taking Noel, if Mavs decide to help with a S&T.

- Mavs get the Brunson replacement with defense to pair with Luka. Take a flyer at Noel as 3.Big.

- Spurs get their 3 picks, a young prospect with upside who needs time to develop and Powells expiring.

Perhaps there is also a way to replace Powell with Bertans, who had his best days in San Antonio, by adding the 29 first, too.

What do you think? Would this offer be competitive?

Embarrassingly bad for Spurs.

2.) 28 Jun 2022 21:01:25
For those that disagree, if you want to trade your young rising all star for 2 eh players & 3 late 1st go for it loll.

3.) 28 Jun 2022 21:40:48
I would say do it for Green and 2 x 1st. And to involve Pacers to send Powell and a 1st for Turner. Having Murray and Turner in addition Mavs can take the risk to move 1st for years.

Dallas / / Orlando

Dallas receives: Jonathan Isaac, Wendell Carter Junior

Orlando receives: THJ, Davis Bertans, Josh Green, Pick #26.

Dirkules

1.) 07 Jun 2022 15:14:20
This does nearly nothing for Orlando.

2.) 07 Jun 2022 15:54:55
I wouldn’t give up Carter for any of that.

3.) 07 Jun 2022 16:48:09
Doncic and 1st
For
Gary Harris and 3 2nds.

4.) 07 Jun 2022 17:04:40
What do you think is a fair price for WCJ?

5.) 07 Jun 2022 20:05:06
Magic definitely say no!

Fix the Mavs:

1. Step "Cash in on Brunson"
He is ready for his own team.

Knicks: K. Walker, 23er first from mavs
Mavs: J. Brunson, WCS (expiring)

This frees all Mavspicks.

2. Step "all in"

Toronto sends: Siakam, Dragic
Toronto receives: Porzingis, LeVert

Detroit sends: Grant
Detroit receives: Dragic (Buyout), 2 Firstrounder 22 + 26

Indiana sends: Turner, LeVert
Indiana receives (Carlisles Darlings) : DFS, Powell, THJ, Firstrounder 24

Dallas sends: Porzingis, THJ, Powell, DFS, WCS, Brunson, 3 Firstrounder 22, 24, 26
Dallas receives: Siakam, Grant, Turner, Walker and 2 Rosterspots for Dragic, Criss

S5: Turner/ Siakam/ Grant/ Green/ Doncic
Reserve: Kleber/ Criss/ Bullock/.

Dirkules

1.) 13 Jan 2022 23:26:02
Brunson does not get the Mavs a first as a "rental".

2.) 13 Jan 2022 23:50:20
Why not? He's really good and we got his bird rights. Name a better PG, who is gettable for one First. This would be a steal for a player like Brunson. And he is well known and beloved by the Knicks. If they trade for him, he'll will resign with them.

3.) 14 Jan 2022 02:40:57
If that is the case, then why not just make Brunson an offer for next season and keep the first?

4.) 14 Jan 2022 04:10:20
Y never trade the whole team. But Mavs may go after Turner or Collins and maybe Beal or McCollum.

But Brunson an also DFS may become traded.

NYK would easy send Walker and the 2023 1st back. Since they do not have CAP space, also not next year. But having traded for Brunson, they would have the bird rights to sign him anyway. And Brunson would be a good starter to improve Knicks to go to the finals.

Brunson, Barrett, Reddick . nice, young backcourt!

5.) 14 Jan 2022 13:08:36
Pascal and Dragic for Levert and KP without picks? That's a hard pass.

6.) 14 Jan 2022 13:53:48
The addition of Brunson does not make the Knicks a top-3 team in the East (thus able to get to Finals) .

Raptors / Mavs

Raptors get Powell/ Green/ Terry/ Burke

Mavs get Dragic/ Boucher

Why for Raptors?
Getting under the tax, while adding 2 young projects they valued at the draft. Also add Powell as a local culture setter to replace Boucher.

Why for Mavs?
Getting Doncicbuddy for additional playmaking and Boucher as Porz replacement. Doubt that Green and Terry see enough playtime to take the next step, cause Mavs try to compete.

What do you think?

Dirkules

No from us.

2.) 10 Oct 2021 18:37:15
Josh Green is to much - but M. Brown is a 21y young center that would give the Raptors size on Center and Mavs could take Bonga. Done.

3.) 10 Oct 2021 21:50:16
Easy pass from Toronto. Very easy.

Dirkrules must bee ringing's alternate account, which we all know is d_drainer's old account. LOL 😂.

Three team trade 76ers/ Pacers/ Mavs

76ers get Brogdon/ Porzingis/ Warren

Sixers solve the Simmons situation and add 3 Startingfive calibers, who complement Embiid better than Ben. Porz will be used as stretch 4, the position he excells in during his NY days. Not the haul Morey is expecting, but probably the best package they can actually get if they prefer Winnow potential over Picks.

Starting 5 (5-1): Embiid/ Porz/ Warren/ Milton/ Brogdon

Pacers get Simmons/ Powell/ Kleber

Pacers get the best player in Simmons. Carlisle values his darling Powell and Kleber, who is one of the rare Bigs that are able to defend the rim and the perimeter, spread the floor and can play next to nearly every other big, including Sabonis.

S5: Sabonis/ Kleber/ Simmons/ LeVert/ McConnell

Mavs get Harris/ Turner/ Maxey

Dallas take on the huge salary of Tobi, who was a bigger Playoff liability than Simmons and has less potential but is more durable than Porz. Also adds the Dallasnatives Turner and Maxey to round out their roster construction.

S5: Turner/ Harris/ Bullock/ Hardaway/ Doncic

What do you think? Who has to add pickcompensation to make it a fair deal?

Dirkules

1.) 07 Sep 2021 14:01:36
There is no way Mavs get that kinda return on Porzingis, Powell and Kleiber.

2.) 07 Sep 2021 15:07:13
Feels like phili would just cut Dallas out, keep Harris, and avoid Porzingis.

3.) 07 Sep 2021 15:51:30
If Mavs get too much, which team should get more in return in your opinion?

4.) 07 Sep 2021 16:10:29
BMiller, do you think Turner is a better fit than Porzingis? Or do you mean Warren + Brogdon vs Simmons will get it done?

5.) 07 Sep 2021 16:57:15
I think that Philly would like a Brogdon and Warren return

They would definitely rather keep Harris over KP

Brogdon
Curry
Warren
Harris
Embiid

Looks very good.

6.) 07 Sep 2021 19:52:41
Yeah, I meant simplifying it to Brogdon and Warren for Simmons. Seems close to even to me, and I think that makes Phili better than adding the Harris for Porzingis swap.

Won't say it makes them better. But at least more flexible.

I'd bet Sixers would love Seth and a tryout on THJ. If they'll keep Simmons and Embiid, you'll need shooting around them. And even if they don't see them as an direct upgrade, it's still 24 M expiring money.

Maybe I'm underestimating the value of Thybulle, but Horford and J-Rich didn't worked out for them. Seth and THJ maybe will.
