Isaac will be released and the Magic will save an additional $17+ million in cap. The Magic realistically won't get even a 2nd Rd pick for him. It's too bad, when healthy he is great, but he just can't stay healthy.

Before the Wolves traded for Gobert, I thought Isaac would make the perfect PF next to Towns.

Even if the Wolves trade Towns, Isaac would be a good pickup for them. Isaac and McDaniels could make a great defensive combo at the forward spots.

i am just thinking since the Magic are closer to contention than the Pistons, they could use a veteran that is much better than Gary Harris (who i KNOW MD hates) plus you get to unload Isaac and giving away a 2nd round pick as charity for the poor.

@iFroth the idea is all well and good, but I have 2 issues with it. #1: Alec Burks isn't very good and most likely would get cut
#2: I don't believe any team wants to pay Isaac the $17 million he would be owed for next season. Better to wait for Orlando to cut him and then give him a minimum prove it deal.
