As good as Edwards is, the Spurs wont give all of that for him. The Spurs depth and talent is amazing on its own. If they are to get Edwards they will keep Castle or Harper.

Nets get: T. Harris (exp), Jaden Ivey, Klintman, Sasser, 2027 Pistons' 1st + 3 2nd round picks

Why?
Pistons add the scoring forward they need in MPJ and replace Ivey with Cam Thomas without sacrificing any defensive assets

Nets acquire draft capital and three young players to build with, while shedding MPJ and Cam, who took shots away from their young players.
They can perhaps ask for Holland, but Detroit should probably say no.

Might help the Pacers but it sure doesn’t help the Hawks. They have proven this year, once and for all that Okongwu, at 6’8” is not a starting center on a playoff team. Unless a trade nets a starting caliber center in place of or in addition to Porzingis it will not help the Hawks.
