Awww. Now I see your confusion. On NBA. com Wojo tweeted that KAT AGREED to the extension on June 30th (which would make him eligible June 29th) . However, NBA. com also reports that the extension was SIGNED on July 7th.
Another hint that MAVMAN is mistaken is that this season starting on July 1st was the soonest that KAT was eigible to sign a super-max extension starting in 2024-25. There is no way that he signed it on June 30th.
I mean I do get things wrong at times, but this one is just too easy to research.

Kyrie trade feels like a failure to me. Kyrie is leaving next year. Mavs dont have assets to trade for another star. Doncic to Nuggets is more realistic ?.

Come on, Carl. That is the going price for bench/ role players who average single digits goes for nowadays. Didn't you see all those 1sts round picks that were traded at the last trade deadline?
And it is not like Jarred Vanderbilt and Malik Beasley are better than Mavs' Green and Hardy.

You can't extend and trade Wood for KAT. Because of when KAT signed his super max extension, he will not be eligible to be traded until 7 July 2023. Wood becomes a free agent on 1 July. Either way, Wood will have to want to go to Minnesota. I don't know many NBA players volunteering to got to Minnesota. I don't even think Dallas can S&T Wood for KAT with Dallas being a luxury tax payer.
Kings will throw more than $7 mil at Thybulle.
Just so we are clear, that 2nd round pick is a 2030 second because Dallas currently does not have any second rounders to trade.
After all this, Dallas would be in the luxury tax and only have 10 players under contract. How did it work for the Lakers filling out rosters with vet mins?

Brunson is a good player, they traded him out of nothing. But he is an average scorer and defender - hence not the perfect fit for Mavs not on that money.
Green and 3 1st ist a good offer, if Jazz ready to quite with Mitchell. Mitchell as an athletic scorer and defender is a perfect fit for Mavs.
